Day 13 - Exploring Hannibal, Missouri

By:  Sandy and Gunter Oeser - Adventure 14

Our day started with a trolley ride around Hannibal, Missouri.  We saw statues of Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn and Mark Twain.

Our guide was very informative and it was surprising to learn that he and his wife have only lived here 2-3 years.  They are very involved in the museum and educating visitors on all facts of Hannibal, not just Mark Twain.

We had a presentation by Becky Thatcher, an eighth grade girl with a cute personality.  Later we wandered the museums and streets of Hannibal.

Our evening was spent on a Riverboat Dinner cruise, with music, on the mighty Mississippi River.  It was a very pleasant evening and a fun day.
