Rendezvous minus 2 days

Today was a dreary, rainy, cold day.  Dark clouds spit out heavy rain and sprinkles almost non-stop.  But that didn’t stop us!  Vehicle inspections and in-rig visits continued, while more folks appeared at the RV park.  We are growing in number.  We are still expecting one more couple to arrive tomorrow.  Then we will all be here.  To the delight and surprise of many guests, the owners of Adventure Caravans, Ron and Juanita Kohn arrived today and will travel with us for a few days.
It was decided earlier in the day that we would all get together for a LEO, otherwise known as “let’s eat out”.  The spot was chosen, arrangements made and most of the group headed to Brigid’s Cross, an Irish Pub close by here in Bemidji.

The food was good, the manager charming.  We happened to be there on open mike night for writers.  We were treated to short stories, poetry, and other readings by several locals, as well as our own Fred Osmun reciting what he called “musings” of a humorous nature.
